Affiliate Program Terms

These terms apply to everyone in the Swell Scenes affiliate program, including existing affiliates. They sit alongside the affiliate registration and any terms from our affiliate platform (UpPromote). If there is a conflict on paid advertising, these terms control.

By joining, staying in, or sending traffic through the program, you agree to these terms.

1. What the program is for

We pay commission on sales that come from your unique affiliate link when a customer discovers Swell Scenes through your content — social posts, videos, blogs, newsletters, or similar. The program is not a way to bid on our brand in paid search and collect commission on people who were already looking for us.

2. Paid search and brand bidding

You may not run paid search, shopping, or Performance Max ads that send traffic to swellscenes.com or to a page that redirects there.

That includes, without limitation:

  • Bidding on “Swell Scenes”, “swellscenes”, misspellings, or close variants
  • Bidding on our brand plus a product word (for example “swell scenes posters”)
  • Using our brand name in ad headlines, descriptions, display URLs, or sitelinks
  • Direct-linking any paid search, shopping, or Performance Max ad to swellscenes.com
  • Using our trademarks as keywords on Google, Bing, Yahoo, or similar networks

Effective date for this section: September 19, 2026, 12:00 a.m. Eastern. Affiliates who were running this traffic before these terms existed have until then to pause those campaigns. After that date, any order that arrives with a paid-search click id (such as a Google gclid) may have its commission reversed, and the account may be suspended.

3. Other paid ads

Paid social, display, or influencer ads that feature your content (not our brand name as the keyword) are allowed if they do not impersonate Swell Scenes and do not use our trademarks in the ad headline or display name in a way that looks like an official Swell Scenes ad.

4. Coupon, deal, and loyalty sites

You may not list Swell Scenes on coupon, deal, cashback, or browser-extension sites, or append your affiliate link to a customer who is already on our site (cookie stuffing, toolbar injections, or similar).

5. How you may use our brand

  • You may show our products and say you are an affiliate
  • You may not present yourself as Swell Scenes, an employee, or official partner beyond the affiliate program
  • You may not register domains, social handles, or ads that impersonate us
  • You may not alter our artwork and resell it as your own

6. Commissions, fraud, and termination

We may withhold or reverse commissions, and suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe these terms were broken — including paid-search brand bidding after the effective date. We may also close accounts that send no qualifying (non-paid-search) traffic.

We can update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued participation after a change is posted is acceptance of the new terms.
