About Artemis II and the Mission
Artemis II is NASA’s first crewed mission of the Artemis program and the first human journey to the vicinity of the Moon since Apollo 17 in 1972. Four astronauts will travel aboard the Orion spacecraft, launched by the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, on a multi-day lunar flyby before returning to Earth. During the mission, Orion’s life support, navigation, and communication systems will be tested in deep space, proving the technologies needed for future lunar landings and eventually Mars exploration.
The Artemis II crew includes Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, representing NASA and the Canadian Space Agency. Together, they will help open a new chapter in human spaceflight by demonstrating that the Orion spacecraft and SLS are ready to support long-term exploration of the Moon and beyond.
This poster brings that story into your space as a bold visual symbol of exploration, innovation, and the next generation of crewed missions beyond low Earth orbit. With its sophisticated and intriguing representation of lunar photography, this art print appeals to enthusiasts of space and astronomy, connecting you to the cosmos right from your wall!
