This matte border poster of Matthiessen State Park features a wide cream border that frames the artwork with a clean, gallery-ready presentation. The generous matte surround gives the illustrated scene of lush canyon walls and cascading waterfalls a refined sense of depth, letting the art breathe without competing visual elements at the edges.

The caption — "Matthiessen State Park" with "Oglesby, Illinois" beneath — is set in a quiet, elegant typeface within the bottom band of the border, keeping all text off the artwork itself. This layout echoes the look of a professionally matted and mounted print, delivering that polished, curated aesthetic straight out of the box.

Slip this poster into a standard frame and it looks like a custom-matted piece — no additional mat board needed. The cream border pairs beautifully with light wood, black, or white frames, making it an effortless addition to a living room gallery wall, a hallway display, or an office that could use a touch of Midwestern natural beauty.
